We hope you will join us for our monthly club meeting at Momo's Market Street with a social at 6:30 pm and our speaker at 7:00 pm. Tonight's speaker will be Dr. Matthew Vermeer. Dr. Vermeer is a Primary Care Physician with a focus on Sports Medicine. He joined Dr. John Ness Family Medicine here in Tallahassee in October of last year. He specializes in non-operative orthopedics including prolotherapy and PRP. He completed his undergraduate degree at The University of South Florida and attended medical school at St. George's University. In the past, he worked with the medical staff for MLB teams like the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays. For three years, he was part of the medical team for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, a pro soccer team in the USL. He will be speaking to us tonight about regenerative medicine for athletes. Our club meetings are open to the public, and you don’t have to be a member to attend. If you’re interested in learning more about our club, or triathlon in general, please stop by.
