The 1800-member Gulf Winds Track Club–the parent organization of the 370-member Gulf Winds Triathletes–recognized the young(er) and the old(er) as the Club’s Triathletes of the Year at the annual awards ceremony held January 10, 2015, at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens in Tallahassee. Kate Harrison, F20-24, received the award as the Female Triathlete of the Year. Rob McNeely, M55-59, was recognized as the Male Triathlete of the Year.
2010 Female Triathlete of the Year, Anne Bowman, presented the award honoring Harrison. Self-described “dashing man-about-town” and 2014 GWTC Bill Lott Volunteer of the Year recipient, Mike Burns, presented the award to McNeely. Congratulations to Kate and Rob!
